The Antipodes

The Antipodes was my first experience as a dramaturg. I worked as part of a team of students that was led by a faculty member as the lead dramaturg. Over the course of three weeks, we created a script dictionary, designed posters as our lobby display, and created an audience-facing dramaturgy website (which can be found here). However, I did not only learn about the dramaturgy process, but I also developed teamwork and collaboration skills and tactics that I still use to this day. Overall, this production was a formative experience that changed the trajectory of my career, and I could not be more grateful. It is through The Antipodes that I discovered my love of research and audience engagement, as well as facilitating a production through its development process.
